"It Can Fly"

ok so in one of the pics with me is two Taiwanese people howard in the middle and rusty on the end..i love those guys... thats the day after i spent throwing up all day... i look really skinny... will howard is studying in so cal and he just went back to cal... he was here for chinese new year... then there is my old comp and my new one ELder Alston from idaho... he's been in taiwan for about 4 days now.... they also asked me to be district leader, there must be a flaw in the revelation LOL, because we were at the bishops house eating last night, and i said something and she was like your senior companion? your NAUGHTY! hahahh i told her naughty is what makes people miss you.... she laughed and agreed... then i told her i was the rebel of the family and most disliked, but because of that, i am now the most missed... then i asked her what she meant by naughty, i told her i obey the rules, but just have fun while doing it.... she said your a cute naughty.... then i felt better, because you cant just say naughty alone, because if that got to President it wouldn't sound good ahahh but i don't mind "cute Naughty" getting to him. every one in the ward makes fun of me... i get called monkey because of my chinese name... which means monkey king... its the dragon ballz character goku and they call me sun jie mei.... sister Brunson.... some how every where i go i end up getting called sister brunson... i need to quit throwing out silly one liners during church...... like this sunday the teacher asked what is special bout the holy ghost ... some answers were said, but she was waiting for more.... and no one was answering... so i blurted out he can fly..... lets just say its not the answer she was looking for lol love you all.

hey all sorry if i didn't respond to any of your emails.... not feeling to hot out here.... woke up yesterday at 3 am with terrible stomach pain then spent the next 8 hours walking back and forth from my bed to the bathroom.... i got hit with something really bad.... i was so close to just asking to go to the hospital, i have never had the flu that bad before. i had my comp give me a blessing.... and those aren't things that i just go around asking for lol//// but today i feel tons better compared to yesterday, im just really week, stomach still hurts and i hate to see food.

as you may have known last week was Chinese new year... so that means fireworks going off for two weeks straight and eating a lot for a whole week a lot of food till your over full,,, well yeah all that food i ate was all gone as of yesterday... now im just super skinny again. here are pics, from my comps camera that i got from him,,, that girl is karena she is the one that i got from English class to start meeting with us... then the sisters came in and we gave her to them..... and she was baptized.... she was very golden..... VERY GOLDEN.

oh yeah and the brick wall pic is in a elevator... its where missionaries sign there names... in buildings here some don't have a 4th floor because its ( sugh ) in Chinese which sounds a lot like the other sugh, which means death.... me and my comp are gonna put our pic on that wall :)

ummm these pics are a little more on the evil side..... but if you understand the situation completely you would understand.....

A FREAKING LEPORED PANDA broke down our front door and attacked my companion, so i grabed my bore knife and .... well, HANDLED the SITUATION.

Well im still with Elder Davis, those women investigators we were teaching and handed over to the sisters were baptized. on last Saturday and the other last last Saturday.

right now we are still just trying to find! we find people but everyone says ill have time after Chinese new year.... you know that week where no one is on the streets and all we do is get fat.... yeah thats this week... but we got a new rule. meals can only be an hour long/// last time when i was getting trained we spent about 2 hours to 3 hours at a persons house... yes its that big of a deal... so big that church is only an hour long next sunday.... well happy birthday aubrea! and happy CNY to you all!

I love Taiwan!

this is banqioa from my roof..... hey i ran into a guy this week he is a less active and said he was baptized in the 60's, said he knew an elder neilson.... but didnt know his full name.... this chinese guy was name zhang ming ke ask brother neilson if he knows him... this guy hasnt been to church in three years told me " he isn't cutting his hair until the justice is served" seems he may have left the church due to being offended. his hair is very long maybe two feet right now. he used to work in oakland hospital as an engineer for three years... it was a miracle to run into the guy.... well the work is struggling out here... i think satan is focused on our area again, because we got more priesthood brethren in the water then he wanted.... our other investigator that we handed off to the sisters got baptized this past saturday, and the other girl karena , i found from teaching english, is getting baptized this sasturday.

love you all, pray for me to have the spirit, in the work, thats all that is needed right now, it all comes down to the spirit when your finding.

I'm an Apostatized missionary

hey all well we had another baptism, it was great, but it was the first of this kind that i have seen! so his name is Chen (brother) and he got baptized on the 15th, his birthday we had our recent convert brother Zeng help baptize him... preach my gospel likes the new members baptizing, so trying to make everything perfect i asked zeng to baptize him.... it was a great service, i spoke on baptism at it, and the spirit was very strong, so it was a smooth baptism.... or so you would think..... well bishop came up to me after everyone left and said in english,, i have to tell you a secret, so we went for a walk,,,,,, and then he started speaking in chinese.... and told me BROTHER ZENG didn't get the priesthood yet.... OOOOOPS!!!!! then he looked at me and had this confused look like what do we do and i was like " are you serious, we all nominated him last week for priesthood ( i don't know whats that called in english) and my mm leader told me you guys give the members priesthood different then you do in america, he said you do it in your bishops office."

so i was lead to believe he had the priesthood plus the bishop attended the baptism.... then his wife came up and was like whats wrong.... i looked at her and smiled... the baptism is wrong hahahah then she said what and bishop told her he didn't have the priesthood, and then she hit him and said you knew this the whole time, and he said i didn't think of it till after it had happened.... then i said no problem no problem no one needs to know... will fill the font right now again and baptize him again..... so we got the water going... but before that i grabbed our investigator and said i need to talk you..... so we walked into a room, i shut the door and said we have a problem.... the baptism we just did doesn't count, zeng doesn't have the priesthood, what do you have planned today, we need to baptize you again.... hahaaahah this is a hilarious experience, so many details get left out while typing.... well to make it quick the investigator was good bout the situation, and it was a good experience,,, really funny he got the opportunity to feel what its like to get baptized the apostatized way then the real way... i told him now no one would forget him!!! well

the story is better in person, if the ward wants me to give a talk on authority when i get back, i think i would do a very good job!! :)

heres Chen.... after he wasnt really baptized with every one.... then there he is with us right before we re baptized himmmmm .... hes handsome,,, 37 and not married yet,,, we took him to the temple after church yesterday to do a tour and he cant wait to get married there!

ohhh ya and the pic on the door , is a note we wrote to the guy going in this sat..... he loved it... we went to his door snaped a photo then printed it out and put it on his door... he said it was great cuz it gave him the feeling we were there

Happy New Year!

well its a new year, and just started my ninth transfer, i've almost been on island for a year, this month the 27th will be a year. i still have no clue what im doing but im so used to that feeling now, that it feels like i know what im doing. hope that make sense....if not oh well, when do i make sense? we got a baptism on the 8th and should have one on the 15th as well, both of which are super prepared, and im not worried about them at all! last night i saw a kid i baptized on my third transfer, turns out he's super strong in the church he's 24, and he came up to me i hugged him, then he asked me where you at right now, i told him banqioa and then he said really i said yeah, and he said really i was like YEAH, then he said i want you to give my family the gospel, turns out they live on the same road as the church i go to So they're in my area.... i thought that was a miracle, that was the first time i have seen him in bout 7 months, and i just so happen to be in the area his family lives in now..... ummmm im still alive and baptizing.... thats all you really need to know right? love yall

the kid in the middle is zeng bo ya, hes getting baptized on the 8th... right now because he is so golden and wants to serve a mission, he is my companion and we teach my comp a elder davisll the lessons, my comp elder davis is our progressing investigator brother waters, we teach in english, zeng bo ya actually calls at nights and follows up on brother waters hahahahhah

oh and the bike shop guy we run with six mile every tues thurs and sat,,, we are slowly teaching him the gospel as we run.... i hate running that far lol, but its for baptism :)
