Changes...

here's the family we got our last week! and here is last pday when we went to go hiking but a storm changed those plans! well im in my new area now, new comp, and hes cool , hes from cali so well porbly be saying dude alot ahahh jk! i'm in xinpu now! this should be good!!!! my new comp is elder davis, and we are gonna do great!

Kissed By an "Angel"

we have been struggling trying to get this area we opened on its feet, it wasn't easy going senior speaking the Chinese language, let alone my comp had only completed 3 months on the island when we first started, and opening an area! and its still hard to push, but this week i got pretty sick, just very congested and bad headaches, last week was the limping due to the surgery on my toe..... let aloe back to this week.... ps Am I done yet... lol, do you remember me saying how much i hate the mosquitoes here.... well turns out they not only suck, but they kiss tooooooo. if you take a look at the picture i have attached, you will see how adorable it is to get a good kiss goodnight from a mosquito as your sleeping. it was so nice, it had been so long since i had been tucked in !!!! let a lone that night the assistants where on exchanges with the zone leaders, so i had one of the aps sleeping next to me, but no they wanted me.... not him. ohh but it doesn't stop there,,, the next night, the mosquitoes paid a visit again.... its always nice to have such great company. this time he didn't kiss my lip though, he was a bit more brave, and kissed my EYE!!!!! stupid annoying flying piece of sucking blood selfish worthless living insect from the underworld!, LEAVE ME ALONE!!! my eye swelled up so bad!!! i had to ice it for an hour, before i even looked human again.... sorry this time i didn't get a picture,,,, i forgot till after i iced it,,, i have never been taken so advantage of!!!!

well other then the many adventures this week, and me getting over my cold and learning new ways to fight off the demons from the under world, id like to thank you for your prayers! love elder brunson!

This morning we went hiking. The hike we went on at like 5 in the morning and stop at some monuements on the road too, one of which is a hotel, the one i with president and my mtc district taken a picture in front of. if you haven't notice the chinese has completely flipped my grammar,,,, im gonna have really CUTE english when i get back.... ahhhh not much to report on this week,,, just pushing out here.... we were able to hit the golden goals on finding new investigators... thats 5 new inv.......... tracted one day for six hours, with all rejection.... it gave me boldness, and my comp told me the things i was saying to people was actually making his mouth drop.... LITERALLY ahahhahh dont worry i know im not here to condem, im here to be a tool to save, but this tool will not get walked over, by aposistized,false, meainingless doctrine from the under world. by the way that six hours we tracted and contacted that day, all rejection, i knew God was just testing us and had something at the end of the trail,,,, ran into a family of three as we were heading home... i actually passed them but felt i should go back.... we did and they want to come to church... :) they dont have a religion...

A New Twist on Getting Yelled At

i got yelled at badly because i rang an old mans door bell, remember to ask me that story when i come back, no time to tell it right now.... lets just say he was so angry i couldn't help but laugh!!!!!! hahahah its so funny to get yelled at in chinese and taiwanese mixed!!!!! i took the approach as he was yeling at me , to kill him with kindness and asked if there was something i could do to serve him :) love you all elder Brunson

I'm gonna starve

well i wont be sending pics this week! i have moved, i am now in my 5th area got sent back to taipei shi lin qu my apartment is in the night market, the bigest in taiwan our area is called the shilin speacial and they gave me an old brick for a phone, they told me to drop it off of the 101 tower and it wouldnt break.... do you think i should try it?,, i live with the zone leaders, i have become senior companin this transfer and have no clue what im doing i cant even order food, so well probly have to starve lol.... let alone me and my comp are white washing our area.... either president is giving me a chance to improve my finding skillz or he trust me or maybe both :).... i dont know which it is lol, but since i dont know what im doing, im just gonna stress obedience and hard work! my new companion is elder Terry from utah saint goerge.... yep so im on my 7th transfer now... still just as yung as can be. i really dont know what to say this week... last night before i flew to taipei, we were tracting in taidong, not seeing sucess then i saw a guy coming on a scooter had a feeling to tell him to stop, so yelled out to him and commanded him to stop.... HE DID.... we then taught him the gosplel and set a baptismal date....then about five minutes later after we said our thankyuo pray to God, we were unlocking our bikes, and a man came out of his house and said he was willing to hear our message now ( we knock on his door about 30 mins before and he compltly rejected us) and now he wanted to hear our message... ? well we told him sorry and said he'll have to wait till tommarow becuase we have to go home by 9 .... it was cool 2 miracle back 2 back like that let alone someone who rejected us all the sudden had a change of heart ?????!!!!! good stuff.... telling him we had no time felt like judgment day to me alittle... it was kinda sad, i really wanted to teach him, but time didnt allow it... i bet thats how God feels at that end.... thats why its so important to get it right the first time.... i hope that man learned his lesson.... turns out as weel he told us his wife is mormon and hasnt been to church in forever, thats why he wanted to talk to us.... well i hope they can become an eternal family.... take care all...

More Miracles This Week

Lately me and my companion elder you have been seeing miracle afterr miracle,,,, im not used to it,,,, i almost feel like asking God to slow down alittle, so i can set aside some time to thank him :) but honestly the past 2 weeks cant be explained with any other words but one.... "miracle"! before we we would get about 12 lessons on average a week, usually five of which are with a member present, and this week we got 27 lessons with 16 of which members were present, which is actually really amazing becuase we are just a branch down here in taidong, we usally have an average of three progressing investigators, this past week 9, investigators at church 1 about half the time, this week 6 , average for new investagators a wekk proably 2-3, past two weeks we have gotten 8 each week, things are looking good for this area i really hope i can be here one more with elder You,,,, i hope they dont call me to go senoir this next week, i really would like one more as the man with not as many wories :)

but other then that i am doing great here in taiwan, there is only one thing ive had enough of, and thats the misquitos, they like that white meat! not much else to really say! i hope you all enjoyed confrence..... and them good holidays are coming around the corner.. i hope your all excited! dont worry i wont be getting homesick, im to busy!

this week was the best of the mission yet, God has been giving us miracles back to back, he has more then just his hand in the work right now, we found 8 new investigators, and i feel the spirit working through me stronger then ever, if it werent for the spirit, my tones would be terrible, but when i bear testimony of the atonement, the spirit never fails to make my Chinese SICK!!!! im really becoming who i want to be, i care about others more and more, i cant get our investigators off my mind, and i like it, i think bout them when i brush my teeth, i think of them when i sleep, eat, and desire their salvation, i wish we could meet with them everyday! i don't wanna leave taidong, because God is lighting this place up with the spirit, in the next 2 months with gods help we could easly see 10 baptisms! heavenly father hasnt just given us people to teach, he has prepared them, some have been seeking to know who god is, some have been wanting baptism but don't know which church to join, one of our investigators has the same situation as joseph smith himself, he reads the bible wants baptism, he's 17 and his family is all in different churches..... we set a baptismal date the first sit down with him.... he gives me fire for the work! im grateful for the blessing and progression the lord had been blessing elder You and i with, i honestly swear the key to success is EXACT obedience, diligence, and just a little blood and sweat thrown in the mix! well i could try to write down the spirtiual experiences i have been having, but would be dissapointed in my ability to discribe them, they are to unique for words.
