hey all not much to announce this week, i just got sick for two days, gave a talk at a fireside, that President Grimley flew down from Taipei for.... i thought it was a very well written talk,, but i believe when i gave it, it was probably quite confusing..... Chinese isn't easy, but as i understand the gospel more and more, i learn i like it that way... because the harder it is to achieve the more it is worth! i hope friends and family are all well. transfers are next week so well see if I'm still here in the beautiful taidong.... I'm still waiting for that great typhoon.. they say since we haven't had any yet, it should be big !!!! lets just say i cant wait :) well life is good. keep praying for my Chinese... i believe your prayers are working

and is Ryan out on the mission yet.. where did he go again? how are the cousins? how is everyone?

IT'S HOT!

ITS HOT!!! I thought it was suppose to be cooling down now! well the area im in doesnt seem to be improving, but i was thinking this morning actually just as i was writing this, lately i have been wanting to learn how to follow the spirit, and what better way to do that then to tract and contact, to stop for random people on the rode because you feel its right... maybe God is just giving me an opportunity , because i know God never Knocks you down, some people say, and i have heard other missionaries say, i get gong Good and then God just knocks me back down, hits me with something else out of no where, what i have tried to explain to other missionaries and people, is that.... that moment when you feel knocked down, is actually When God has just brought you up a level, God is only one to lift, never to knock down! so when trials come just smile and tell yourself, God must think im ready for the next big thing! love you all !

oops I'm a little late from July 25th 2010

hey all, I'm alive! here is me with stinky fruit :) i like this stuff,.. well i got brooke's letter! thank you for that, but i got a call from the mission office getting interrogated as to why a girl with the name Brooke was sending me a letter with hearts all over it..... they where like we have a question, do you know a Brooke and i was like yeah i meet one in Taipei and they were like do you know any in America and was like i know a lot,,, and asked them why you ask, and they said you have a letter with hearts all over it ... ahhahaahh i laughed and said ohhh that's my sister...... hahah thanks Brooke for the laugh and great letter.... you draw spectacular! elder brunson

DONT SMILE AT THE MONKEYS!

ok so as i was saying last week we went and saw monkeys... we had a member drive us threw the mountains... well i brought a loaf of bread because i wanted to get close to the monkeys.... and i start feeding them... and there was a sign in Chinese characters, which i cant read,, but the other missionaries could and they didn't tell me hahah, it said don't feed the monkeys to avoid getting attacked... so we got lots of video... to big to send.. of me feeding the monkeys..... and at one point,,, i was feeding a mom and a baby a lot, and the king got mad at me.....and while doing this i forgot your not suppose to smile.... so i am smiling as i am giving this other monkey and her baby food, then i hear this growl,,, and one of the elders says he is going to attack you elder brunson, and i look at him and he wasn't happy,, so i threw a piece of bread to him,,, but ....... it hit him in the head, so he launched after me,,,, i ran like a girl!!!!! i also had two monkeys take my bag from me, and there is a video of me trying to still it back.... threw this hole adventure i kept forgetting to not smile.... i had lots of monkeys mad at me....
